What is Pony Xchange?
Pony Xchange is web portal geared toward promoting the pony market in the USA.
The term web portal describes a web site that leads the user to more information in regards to a specific topic of interest ( i.e. the pony). The term pony,
for our use, is described by the USEF rule book as any equine 14.2 hands
and under (regardless of breed or type).
Pony Xchange
welcomes ALL ponies regardless of type or training / discipline style;

harness, roadster, pleasure, marathon and work)

Pony Xchange will
also welcome purebred ponies and crossbred ponies of all types, registered or not!

HORSE BREEDS will be included;
Equines such as Arabians, Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds OFTEN
have breed height standards, and individuals, that fall within
pony size (that would be 14.2 hands and under). Breeders that opt for hybrid offspring (driving or
hunter ponies for example) will often use 15H horses to cross
breed to smaller ponies.

are the Pony Xchange services?
Pony Xchange will
offer on-line advertising services for pony buyers, sellers and breeders
in the form of classified advertisements and banner advertisements.
This site will also offer a free on line community forum with events
calendar and a breed reference listing.
- Pony Classified
service will be automated so the seller has immediate
control to post the ad and pay for it (via PayPal).
- Banner
and directory lists advertisements will be very reasonable
in price, and can be for farm listings, stallions, training services, show announcments, etc.
- Free
on-line community forum (bulletin
board system) and a real time chat, which will be FREE for all
users to encourage talk about the pony market in North America.
- Free
calendar of events list, (calendar)
and directory lists to pony breed, sport/discipline associations and
clubs that are related to ponies.
Who is Pony Xchange?
 This site has been taken on by Zachary Gustafson to fulfill the Supervised Agricultural Experience (SEA) project in the Triton HS FFA. The management, promotion and success of this site will benefit Zachary's pre-college endeavours in the field of animal sciences and may earn him FFA scholarships. :-)

Pony Xchange?
Our site is going
to be structured specifically for people who have built breeding programs,
lesson programs, training farms and a life time of memories around this very diverse member of the equine family, the pony.
Since we have
the power of technically skilled and pony-passionate developers, we
expect to build a FAST presence on-line, catering to a large and broad
audience of pony enthusiasts, like yourself!
